Japanese Short-Form Poetry Workshop Organised to Commemorate International Literacy Day
The Department of Humanities, in association with Litmus KGEC, organised a Japanese Short-Form Poetry Workshop to commemorate International Literacy Day. The programme was convened by Ms. Jagari Mukherjee, HoD, Department of Humanities and Mr. Bidhan Chandra Biswas, Assistant Professor, Department of Mechanical Engineering.
The session featured Mr. Rajorshi Patranabis, an eminent contemporary Indian author and poet, as the guest speaker. He shared his literary insights and introduced participants to the beauty and creative expression of Japanese short-form poetry.
The workshop provided an enriching opportunity for students and participants to explore poetry, language and literary creativity. The event concluded on a positive note, leaving the participants inspired by the world of poetry and the importance of literacy.
