Kalyani Government Engineering College successfully organized SCRIPTIX ’26 the first-ever Literature Fest of the institute on 13 January 2026 at the Fest Ground, KGEC as a Prefest event of the Annual Techno-Cultural Fest, Espektro ’26.
The event was presented by LITMUS – The Literary Society of KGEC in association with the KGEC Students’ Union with the objective of fostering creativity, literary expression and cultural engagement among students. SCRIPTIX ’26 provided a vibrant platform for young minds to articulate emotions, ideas and perspectives through poetry, performance and artistic dialogue.
The programme featured engaging literary and cultural segments including poetry recitations shayari, live band performances, Garba and interactive sessions that highlighted the richness of expressive arts. The event was graced by notable performers Gaurab Tapadar, Ankur Debnath and Ahana Bandopadhyay whose performances added significant artistic value and audience engagement.
Faculty members and students participated enthusiastically contributing to the success of the event. The Literary Fest not only celebrated the power of words and performance but also reinforced the institute’s commitment to holistic education beyond academics.
SCRIPTIX ’26 marked a meaningful beginning for literary celebrations at KGEC and set a strong foundation for future editions, enriching the cultural fabric of the institution.
