Short Report on one-day seminar on “Development of a Career in the AI Era: A Roadmap Towards Entrepreneurship”

A one-day seminar on “Development of a Career in the AI Era: A Roadmap Towards Entrepreneurship” was organized by the IEEE KGEC Student Branch Chapter, in association with IIPC KGEC, IIC KGEC and E-Cell KGEC, on 25 August 2026 at the Seminar Hall, New Building, KGEC.

The keynote session was delivered by Mr. Abhik Kumar Mukherjee, Assistant Professor, Department of Business Administration, University of Burdwan. The seminar focused on the changing career landscape in the era of Artificial Intelligence and highlighted the importance of developing relevant skills, identifying emerging opportunities and cultivating an entrepreneurial mindset.

The interactive nature of the programme encouraged students to think beyond conventional career paths and explore entrepreneurship and innovation as potential avenues for professional growth.

The programme was attended by students and faculty members, who benefited from the expert insights and practical perspectives shared during the session.
